The wash also helps to soften and strengthen synthetic fibers to extend their wear life. Swim Mate® is the ideal cleaner for both hand and machine washing, and is able to clean and deodorize all types of swimsuit fabrics, including nylon, polyester, and lycra. The gentle, yet powerful cleaning solution also works on wetsuits, bathing caps, and scuba gear. Don’t use regular detergents which are far too harsh on most swimwear, often causing color fading and premature stretching. Swimwear requires a targeted approach for gentle and effective cleaning.
Handwashing your swimwear and gear is simple and takes just minutes.
•Pour four capfuls of the Swim Mate® wash into a sink filled with warm water.
•Swish garment around and soak for 3 minutes.
•Gently squeeze out excess water. Do not wring garment. The best way to remove extra moisture is to place the garment between two towels and apply light pressure. The towels will absorb the excess liquid without damaging the fabric.
•Lay flat or hang to dry.
How to Machine Wash your Swimwear:
•Add two to four ounces of Swim Mate® to a small load. Gauge based on weight of stockings and size of load.
•Use warm water.
•HE machine approved.
Be sure not to wring the garment out, as this can cause damage to the fabric.
The most effective way to remove moisture is to press the garment between two towels. Allow the swimwear to dry flat, or hang it up to air dry.

"I got the shipment from Hosiery Mate this afternoon, and tried out the hosiery gloves as I just came back from a social function which was semi-formal so I had to dress up (dress slacks, shirt, tie, belt, support knee-hi’s, dress shoes, dinner jacket, etc). I would have to agree that while the (love) gloves are embroidered with women as the consumer, it made putting on the knee-hi’s (Wolford Pure Energy 30 in nearly black) a real pleasure, and the advertisement on your website is correct, as I did not have to worry about causing a run or snag from either my nails and/or dry skin while wearing the gloves. In my opinion, every one (male or female) who has to wear hosiery (medical, light support, sheers, or fashion) should have one pair of these gloves (or two).
I’ve found that I can wash up to 6 pairs of knee-hi’s per capful of hosiery mate (separating dark and light colored knee-hi’s), so your recommendation of between 4 to 6 pairs appears to be accurate."
