When washing your lingerie, not just any detergent will do. Our Lingerie Mate® is specially formulated to clean, condition, and deodorize lingerie, while eliminating static cling. The wash also helps to strengthen and soften clothing fibers to extend the life span of your favorite pieces. The result? Clean, silky garments that you’ll love to wear.
Laundering your garments in regular detergent can cause the synthetic fibers to deteriorate, whether hand or machine washing. We make handwashing and machine washing your delicates safe and easy. Bleach, phosphate, and dye free, our Lingerie Wash is gentle for you and the planet.
How to Hand Wash Your Lingerie:
•Pour four capfuls of Lingerie Mate® into a sink filled with warm water
• Swish the garment around and soak for three minutes
•Gently squeeze out excess water. Do not wring garment. The best way to remove extra moisture is to place the garment between two towels and apply light pressure. The towels will absorb the excess liquid without damaging the fabric.
• Lay the garment flat or hang to dry
How to Machine Wash Your Lingerie:
• Add two to four ounces of Lingerie Mate® to a small load. Gauge based on weight of stockings and size of load.
• Use warm water
• HE machine approved
• Avoid snags and tears, wash bras and panties in our lace wash bag. Soft lace bag featuring a “no snag” nylon zipper protects your garments in the washing machine. A must have for your delicates!

"I got the shipment from Hosiery Mate this afternoon, and tried out the hosiery gloves as I just came back from a social function which was semi-formal so I had to dress up (dress slacks, shirt, tie, belt, support knee-hi’s, dress shoes, dinner jacket, etc). I would have to agree that while the (love) gloves are embroidered with women as the consumer, it made putting on the knee-hi’s (Wolford Pure Energy 30 in nearly black) a real pleasure, and the advertisement on your website is correct, as I did not have to worry about causing a run or snag from either my nails and/or dry skin while wearing the gloves. In my opinion, every one (male or female) who has to wear hosiery (medical, light support, sheers, or fashion) should have one pair of these gloves (or two).
I’ve found that I can wash up to 6 pairs of knee-hi’s per capful of hosiery mate (separating dark and light colored knee-hi’s), so your recommendation of between 4 to 6 pairs appears to be accurate."
